We know we say this a lot, but tonight’s mix of movies is actually very, VERY good.

A very impressive line-up to get your week off to the right start…

The Bourne Identity – ITV4 – 8pm

A man (Matt Damon) is picked up by a fishing boat, bullet-riddled and suffering from amnesia, before racing to elude assassins and attempting to regain his memory.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – RTE Two – 9pm

The Guardians struggle to keep together as a team while dealing with their personal family issues, notably Star-Lord’s (Chris Pratt) encounter with his father, the ambitious celestial being Ego (Kurt Russell).

Coming To America – Comedy Central – 9pm

An extremely pampered African prince (Eddie Murphy) travels to Queens, New York, and goes undercover to find a wife that he can respect for her intelligence and strong will.

I Am Legend – Sky One – 9pm

Years after a plague kills most of humanity and transforms the rest into monsters, the sole survivor (Will Smith) in New York City struggles valiantly to find a cure.

Fences – TG4 – 9.30pm

A working-class African-American father (Denzel Washington) tries to raise his family in the 1950s, while coming to terms with the events of his life. Co-stars Viola Davis.

Armageddon – ITV4 – 10.20pm

After discovering that an asteroid the size of Texas is going to impact Earth in less than a month, NASA recruits a misfit team of deep-core drillers to save the planet. Stars Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck, and Liv Tyler.

Sausage Party – Comedy Central – 11.20pm

A sausage (voiced by Seth Rogen) strives to discover the truth about his existence. Also features the voice work about a million other famous people.
