The Mother – BBC Four – 9pm

A woman (Anna Reid) has a passionate affair with a man (Daniel Craig) half her age, who is also sleeping with her daughter (Anna Wilson Jones).

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull – FilmFour – 9pm

In 1957, archaeologist and adventurer Dr. Henry “Indiana” Jones, Jr. (Harrison Ford) is called back into action and becomes entangled in a Soviet plot to uncover the secret behind mysterious artefacts known as the Crystal Skulls.

The Amazing Spider-Man – Sky Showcase (Sky One) – 9.45pm

After Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) is bitten by a genetically altered spider, he gains newfound, spider-like powers and ventures out to save the city from the machinations of a mysterious reptilian foe.

Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me – Comedy Central – 10pm

Dr. Evil (Mike Myers) is back and has invented a new time machine that allows him to go back to the 1960s and steal Austin Powers’ mojo, inadvertently leaving him “shagless”.

Rush Hour – ITV4 – 11.05pm

A loyal and dedicated Hong Kong Inspector (Jackie Chan) teams up with a reckless and loudmouthed L.A.P.D. detective (Chris Tucker) to rescue the Chinese Consul’s kidnapped daughter, while trying to arrest a dangerous crime lord along the way.

12 Years a Slave – FilmFour – 11.25pm

In the antebellum United States, Solomon Northup (Chiwetel Ejiofor), a free black man from upstate New York, is abducted and sold into slavery.

Jackass Number Two – Comedy Central – 11.55pm

Chris Pontius, Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Bam Margera, and the whole crew return to the screen to raise the stakes higher than ever before.
