Shane Lynch Has Lambasted RTÉ For Showing THAT Clip On Late Late Show

Shane Lynch has slammed RTÉ for their decision to run the old clip of Boyzone’s first ever appearance on The Late Late Show.

He has also defended himself for his controversial remarks afterwards.

The lads appeared on the show last Friday to perform and chat to Tubs about their final tour.

Ronan, Mikey and Keith had to perform without Shane who was running late after missing two flights back from the UK.

He joined the guys on the couch afterwards, but it was his reaction to the clip that had everyone talking.

The pop star said, “Here’s the story behind that clip – I busted my bollocks to get here… do ya see that clip – you can shove it up your f***ing hole.”

He then turned to the camera and the audience and said, “That’s what you could do with our clip.”

If you missed it, here it is.

Despite Tubridy trying to make light of the situation by saying, “We see it as a bit of fun,” Shane still wasn’t impressed and can be heard replying, “Don’t give a f**k.”

Talking to Niall Boylan on Classic Hits last night, Lynch said, “It’s like the first time, I, as a dyslexic person, decided to put pen to paper and write my story, what I believe is a really good story.”

“Then you have a teacher who shuts you down and tells you that it’s not good enough.”

“They decide from the beginning of that interview to try and take us down a peg or two, like we f**king need it.”

“We don’t need that kind of sh*t.”

“The bottom line is, I think I was just disappointed in the fact that we were very young, very innocent and we’ve gone on to do amazing things. Amazing things.”

“And what do you want to do? Try and chop us down?”

“I’ll tell you what, everybody who has tried to chop me down, I’ve cut them off and told him how I didn’t like it,” he said.

After criticising the national broadcaster, Lynch added that he liked Tubridy and regretted that some people were offended over his remarks.
