Irish writer and academic, Sinéad Burke, has been featured in Vogue along with 24 other women who are shaping 2018.
The article, The Vogue 25: Meet The Women Shaping 2018, looks at the most influential women working in Britain.
The list features others like Biochemist Priyanka Joshi, Author JK Rowling and TV Producer and fellow Irish woman Orla Doherty.
Burke, who gave a Ted Talk called ‘Why design should include everyone‘ last year, is the co-founder of the Inclusive Fashion and Design Collective (IFDC) with U.S. disability advocate Liz Jackson.
She was invited to the White House by the Obama administration for an event called Design For All, which highlighted the intersection of disability and fashion.
Sinéad took to Twitter to say she is “I’m incredibly humbled to sit alongside so many of my heroes in @BritishVogue’s inaugural power list in their July issue.”
