Single? 2021 could be your year because it sounds like Love Island bosses are already planning ahead and have opened up applications for next year’s show.
Hopeful that things will have gotten back to ‘normal’ (or as close as can be expected) by the time summer 2021 rolls around, Love Island producers have said that they are still firing ahead with plans for next year’s show.
Putting up an open application for interested contestants, the ad says that ITV2 are on the hunt for “vibrant singles from across the UK who want to head to the sun in search of love”. No mention of the Irish there but we all know how big a hit Maura Higgins was so that shouldn’t be much of an issue.
As is the usual setup, the chosen cast will be shipped off to a luxury villa where they’ll spend time getting to know each other and coupling up… all while having to win public votes and avoid stepping on too many of their fellow islanders’ toes.
I don’t know about you but I’ve really missed Love Island on our screens so I canny wait for next year!
