Some great movies on tonight to kick your weekend off right!

Rom-coms, war movies, a Bond movie, and an “Irish” classic.

The Social Network – E! Entertainment – 8pm

As Harvard student Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg) creates the social networking site that would become known as Facebook, he is sued by the twins (Armie Hammer) who claimed he stole their idea, and by the co-founder (Andrew Garfield) who was later squeezed out of the business.

21 Jump Street – RTE Two – 9pm

A pair of underachieving cops (Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill) are sent back to a local high school to blend in and bring down a synthetic drug ring.

Goldeneye – ITV4 – 9pm

Years after a friend and fellow 00 agent is killed on a joint mission, a secret space based weapons program known as “GoldenEye” is stolen. James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) sets out to stop a Russian crime syndicate from using the weapon.

Dunkirk – RTE One – 9.35pm

Allied soldiers from Belgium, the British Commonwealth and Empire, and France are surrounded by the German Army and evacuated during a fierce battle in World War II. Stars Barry Keoghan, Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, Harry Styles and more.

Circle of Friends – Virgin Media One – 10pm

Three women, who’ve been friends since childhood, meet at university in Dublin in 1957. Student and boyfriend life begins. Stars Minnie Driver, Chris O’Donnell, Colin Firth and loads more.

Intolerable Cruelty – TG4 – 11.55pm

A beautiful gold digger (Catherine Zeta-Jones) matches wits with a shrewd Beverly Hills divorce lawyer (George Clooney) who is increasingly attracted to her.
