Social Media Banned In Over Half Of Irish Workplaces

Over half of Irish workplaces have banned the use of all or some social media. 

According to a new survey carried out by Ricoh Ireland, 500 Irish workers were questioned on social media rules at work. 

The findings revealed 56% have prohibited the use of some form of social media.

47% of the workplaces ban the use of Facebook while Twitter is forbidden in 36pc of Irish office.

One third of workplaces have banned Instagram, Whatsapp and Snapchat.
