Music festivals are always a fantastic place to strike up conversations with strangers, and make new mates…
So imagine if someone randomly handed you a piece of paper at Knockanstockan last weekend. Surely you’d be intrigued enough to read it, right?
Printed on paper to look like it came from the Department of An Taoiseach, the full letter reads:
Dear Knockanstockan Attendee,
Warmest greetings from Dublin on this fine day.
We have just received a piece of information regarding the Knockanstockan Music and Arts Festival at Blessington Lakes, Co. Wicklow. I’ve spoken with your mother, who told me that she heard from your da, that you are in fact no longer one whole piece. Contrary to that, it has been posited that you are currently made up of several, almost countless, smaller constituent pieces.
It is with a heavy heart that I must tell you that you are, in fact, in bits.
Warm Regards,
Enda Kenny
AN TAOISEACH
