Google now shows you how to avoid lines at coffee shops

Maybe consider checking Google Now a bit more than just for weather updates, traffic updates or reminders of your travel itinerary the next time you’re heading to a restaurant or local coffee shop because they just rolled out a new feature that is going to change everyone’s lives for the better.

Location cards in Google searches now show a “popular time” section, along with the business’ address, phone number and hours. To find the info simply just search the place you’re heading, bring up the card. Select ‘more info’ and at the bottom it will display the popular times. See our example here.

So what do you think? Cool? Pointless? We think this is pretty awesome, especially if you’re looking to save some time and don’t want to queue up for an extra few minutes and waste your lunch time.
