Hobbit Style Sword Glows When it Detects An Unsecured Wifi Network

"I have... I have never used a sword in my life" @Bilbo Baggins. And I hope you never have to Bilbo. But if you do, remember this: true courage is about knowing to use a WarSting to detect unsecured wifi networks. This new piece of tech is definitely for the true geeks.

To celebrate the launch of the new Hobbit movie- The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, Zach Supalla over at Spark IO has made a version of the mythical Sting that actually turns blue near unsecured networks. When you "slash" the sword, Sting will jump on the network, and publish a message telling you your wifi network has been vanquished! They even show you how to make your very own WarSting sword on their website here.
