Is the Virtual Erghis Sphere Superior to Touch Technology?

Imagine a virtual sphere held between your hands that lets you interact and control any device and gadget. Keyboard design hasn't changed since the invention of the computer and the guys at Erghis have their money on their own unusual design. They've entered the very competitive touch-free technology war and the Swedish designers hope that they have designed the future of keyboards.

The current prototype uses a mini sensor which tracks a series of hand commands and gestures with computer visualisation sharing how its reacting to them. By twisting and tapping the sphere users perform all of the usual functions of a mouse.

The creators believe Erghis is superior to current swipe technology. They say its simple to sue and that users can upload and switch commands within 20 minutes making the product extremely versatile. They hope that Erghis will develop so that users can stand freely and make commands away from a computer.
