Portland's Airport Carpet Has Its Very Own Parody Instagram Account

Yes you heard me- the 28 year old carpet in Portland International Airport (PDX) has its very own parody Instagram account. The account was set up by a fan of the funky looking pattern after the airport announced they were replacing it.

PDXCarpet already has over 17,000 followers and there have been thousands of submissions (31,000+ in fact) by people who snapped the outdated rug over the years. Some people have even gone as far as selling merch with the infamous pattern on it. I adore this shit- this is why I fucking love the internet.
