Apple have just announced their app of the year and the prize has gone to the brain training app Elevate. It is a huge prize that in the past has been won by Instagram and Flipboard. 5 million people have downloaded the app and Apple said they won because of their stunning design and deep analytics as well as being an app that makes you smarter.
