SATURDAY

Thor: Ragnarok – RTE Two – 9pm

Imprisoned on the planet Sakaar, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) must race against time to return to Asgard and stop Ragnarök, the destruction of his world, at the hands of the powerful and ruthless villain Hela (Cate Blanchett).

The Mummy – Sky Showcase (Sky One) – 9pm

At an archaeological dig in the ancient city of Hamunaptra, an American (Brendan Fraser) serving in the French Foreign Legion accidentally awakens a mummy who begins to wreak havoc as he searches for the reincarnation of his long-lost love.

Collateral – ITV4 – 10pm

A cab driver (Jamie Foxx) finds himself the hostage of an engaging contract killer (Tom Cruise) as he makes his rounds from hit to hit during one night in Los Angeles.

The Exorcist – BBC Two – 10.45pm

A journalist (Naomi Watts) must investigate a mysterious videotape which seems to cause the death of anyone one week to the day after they view it.

Dumb and Dumber – Comedy Central – 10pm

After a woman leaves a briefcase at the airport terminal, a dumb limo driver (Jim Carrey) and his dumber friend (Jeff Daniels) set out on a hilarious cross-country road trip to Aspen to return it.

The Other Woman – E4 – 10pm

After discovering her boyfriend is married, Carly (Cameron Diaz) soon meets the wife (Leslie Mann) he’s been betraying. And when yet another love affair (Kate Upton) is discovered, all three women team up to plot revenge on the three-timing S.O.B.

What We Do In The Shadows – RTE Two – 11.45pm

Viago (Taika Waititi), Deacon and Vladislav (Jermaine Clement) are vampires who are finding that modern life has them struggling with the mundane – like paying rent, keeping up with the chore wheel, trying to get into nightclubs and overcoming flatmate conflicts.
