If you’re looking to plan your weekend around some great movies to watch from the comfort of your couch, then look no further!

SATURDAY

Enough Said – FilmFour – 7pm

A divorced woman (Julia Louis-Dreyfuss) who decides to pursue the man (James Gandolfini) she’s interested in learns he’s her new friend’s (Catherine Keener) ex-husband.

Den Of Thieves – Channel 4 – 9pm

An elite unit of the LA County Sheriff’s Dept. (including Gerard Butler) and the state’s most successful bank robbery crew (including 50 Cent) clash as the outlaws plan a seemingly impossible heist on the Federal Reserve Bank.

The Other Guys – Comedy Central – 9pm

Two mismatched New York City detectives (Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg) seize an opportunity to step up like the city’s top best cops (The Rock and Samuel L. Jackson), whom they idolise, only things don’t quite go as planned.

Deadpool 2 – FilmFour – 9pm

Foul-mouthed mutant mercenary Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) assembles a team of fellow mutant rogues to protect a young boy with supernatural abilities from the brutal, time-traveling cyborg Cable (Josh Brolin).

When terrorists seize control of an airliner, an intelligence analyst (Kurt Russell) accompanies a commando unit (headed by Steven Seagal) for a midair boarding operation.

Maze – RTE One – 9.45pm

Inspired by the true events of the infamous 1983 prison breakout of 38 IRA prisoners from HMP, which was to become the biggest prison escape in Europe since World War II. Stars Tom Vaughn-Lawlor, Barry Ward, and more.

Game Night – RTE Two – 9.45pm

A group of friends (including Jason Bateman, Rachel McAdams, and Sharon Horgan) who meet regularly for game nights find themselves entangled in a real-life mystery when the shady brother (Kyle Chandler) of one of them is seemingly kidnapped by dangerous gangsters.

Brothers – TG4 – 10.25pm

While on tour in Afghanistan, Sam’s (Tobey Maguire) copter is shot down and he is presumed dead. Back home, it is his screw-up brother (Jake Gyllenhaal) who looks after the family, including his partner (Natalie Portman). Sam does return, but with a lot of excess baggage.

Buried – FilmFour – 11.20pm

Paul (Ryan Reynolds) is a U.S. truck driver working in Iraq. After an attack by a group of Iraqis he wakes to find he is buried alive inside a coffin. With only a lighter and a cell phone it’s a race against time to escape this claustrophobic death trap.

Jurassic Park – Comedy Central – 6.20pm

A pragmatic palaeontologist (Sam Neill) visiting an almost complete theme park is tasked with protecting a couple of kids after a power failure causes the park’s cloned dinosaurs to run loose.

World War Z – E4 – 9pm

Former United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt) traverses the world in a race against time to stop a zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatens to destroy humanity itself.

The Proposal – Comedy Central – 9pm

A pushy boss (Sandra Bullock0 forces her young assistant (Ryan Reynolds) to marry her in order to keep her visa status in the U.S. and avoid deportation to Canada.

Black Sea – FilmFour – 11.05pm

In order to make good with his former employers, a submarine captain (Jude Law) takes a job with a shadowy backer to search the depths of the Black Sea for a submarine rumoured to be loaded with gold.

Baywatch – Channel 4 – 11.20pm

Devoted lifeguard Mitch Buchannon (The Rock) butts heads with a brash new recruit (Zac Efron), as they uncover a criminal plot that threatens the future of the bay.
