Lots of action movies on tonight, if you’re in a big explosion’y kinda mood!

Welcome back to the start of a brand new week.

But just because we’ve got some restrictions lifted today, that doesn’t mean we don’t still want some movie to watch this evening…

Behind Enemy Lines – FilmFour – 6.55pm

A Navy navigator (Owen Wilson) is shot down over enemy territory and is ruthlessly pursued by a secret police enforcer and the opposing troops. Meanwhile his commanding officer (Gene Hackman) goes against orders in an attempt to rescue him.

SWAT – Sky One – 9pm

An imprisoned drug kingpin (Olivier Martinez) offers a huge cash reward to anyone that can break him out of police custody, and only the L.A.P.D.’s Special Weapons and Tactics team (including Colin Farrell, Michelle Rodriguez, and Samuel L. Jackson) can prevent it.

American Pie – Comedy Central – 9pm

Four teenage boys (including Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, and Chris Klein) enter a pact to lose their virginity by prom night.

Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation – FilmFour – 9pm

Ethan (Tom Cruise) and his team take on their most impossible mission yet when they have to eradicate an international rogue organisation as highly skilled as they are and committed to destroying the IMF.

Gone Baby Gone – TG4 – 9.30pm

Two Boston area detectives (Casey Affleck and Michelle Monaghan) investigate a little girl’s kidnapping, which ultimately turns into a crisis both professionally and personally.
