Not going out tonight?
No problemo my good friend because there’s an absolutely cracking movie on RTE tonight that will make you happy you stayed in.
We’d go as far as saying that it’s probably one of the best Irish movies in recent history.
With a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, The Guard starring Brendan Gleeson is one of the best movies to come from this little island.
Released in 2011, it was nominated for several awards including a Golden Globe and scooped best film at the IFTAs.
