katedemolder

The music industry is dominated by incredible female talent, who cease to amaze us every time they perform.

Between record sales, tours, advertising deals, campaigns and whatever else they get up to in their spare time, they pull in quite an impressive sum throughout the year.

But who’s rolling in the big bucks?

Nope, neither Beyoncé, Adele nor Britney hit the top spot.

It’s actually T-Swizzle herself, Taylor Swift, according to  Forbes‘ Top 10 list of the Highest Paid Women in Music 2016:

Here’s the list in its entirety:

  1. Taylor Swift ($170 million)
  2. Adele ($80.5 million)
  3. Madonna ($76.5 million)
  4. Rihanna ($75 million)
  5. Beyoncé ($54 million)
  6. Katy Perry ($41 million)
  7. Jennifer Lopez ($39.5 million)
  8. Britney Spears ($30.5 million)
  9. Shania Twain ($27.5 million)
  10. Celine Dion ($27 million)

Well, what do you think?

We’re just chuffed that Celine got a mention. My Heart Will Go On will forever be a banger.
