The most-watched show of last year has been revealed by TAM Ireland, and it probably won’t come as a surprise.
A whopping 1.35m tuned in to The Late Late Toy Show in 2017, attracting 70% of the available audience.
The next four most-watched shows were all sport – the All-Ireland Football Final clocked in at number two, while the hurling final was fourth.

Interestingly enough, all of the most-watched programmes in Ireland in 2017 were on RTÉ One and RTÉ Two.
