The cold weather is set to last into the weekend so there’s no better way to spend your Friday than snuggled up with some movies on TV.
Tonight’s line-up of movies on TV provides plenty of jumpy scares, a dollop of sci-fi and, of course, some romance for the weekend that’s in it.
Here’s a selection of the best movies on TV this evening…
Jaws 2 – ITV 4 – 9pm
“It’s a different film, Ted, it’s a very different film! It’s a different shark!”

Matt Damon ventures a little bit further than Dalkey in this 2015 Oscar-nominated sci-fi.
Forsaken – TG4 – 9.20pm
A Canadian Western starring father and son duo Donald and Kiefer Sutherland.
