The kids are heading off on Spring Break… what could go wrong?
It’s been over two years since the third season of the hit Netflix show released. Over the weekend, Netflix announced it was officially coming in Summer 2022. The trailer below shows Eleven, or El (Millie Bobby Brown) as she acclimatises to school life in California. Last season saw El, supposedly now powerless, and the Byers family ditch Hawkins for good. She’s writing to Mike (Finn Wolfhard), telling him all about what’s been going on with her, and emphasises her excitement for Spring Break. The montage of scenes that ensue show us that Spring Break is not going to be the relaxing affair that El hopes for.

All our fan favourites are set to return, even a certain someone who appeared to die last season (and had us all in floods of tears). Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, and Maya Hawke will all return.
When the new season drops it will be three years since the previous one aired. Stranger Things, like many shows, shut down production in March 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic.
We are buzzing to see Stranger Things return and just how the kids are adjusting to life in California. We somehow have a feeling they are not going to have the best spring break ever.
