The guests on RTÉ’s The Ray D’Arcy Show are quite often of an acquired taste but tonight’s line-up looks like decent enough TV.
The GAA fans among us will be glad to hear that Kerry legend Colm ‘The Gooch’ Cooper will be on to discuss his recent retirement and his upcoming gig as a pundit on The Sunday Game.
Joining Gooch will be fellow GAA legend Henry Shefflin as both discuss their extraordinary careers in football and hurling respectively as well as their lives off the pitch.
If that’s not all, Mayo’s favourite music mentor Louis Walsh will be discussing the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest and what it’s like working with Simon Cowell, Cheryl ‘Whatshername’ et al.
Throw in a lip sync battle, Dancing With The Stars finalist Aoibhin Garrihy and dancers from the Hession School Of Irish Dance who feature in Ed Sheeran’s ‘Galway Girl’ video and it sounds like a decent night in on the sofa.
