We hope you have a nightlight to sleep with, because after seeing the new Slender Man movie there’s no way you’ll ever sleep in the dark again. Like, never.
Based on the frankly fucking terrifying online phenomenon of a thin, unnaturally tall man with a featureless head and face, wearing a black suit who stalks and terrorises children (we told you it’s terrifying), the movie will be released on May 18.
The movie trailer seems to show several children being tormented by Slender Man – one girl is restrained to a hospital bed, another stabs herself in the face with a scalpel in an anatomy class.

The supernatural character took a threatening turn when two 12-year-old American girls attempted to murder their classmate after reading Slender Man fan fiction on the internet.
This will be one film you won’t wanna see on your own, that’s for sure.
