YAS. The TV series version of mega popular Irish movie The Young Offenders is finally being released after news broke that filming had begun last summer.
The six-part series will follow lovable teenage ragamuffins Conor and Jock as they navigate through their adolescent years.
The series, written, directed and executive produced by award-winning filmmaker Peter Foott, will film for eight weeks at locations across Cork city and county.
The show will air on BBC3 on February 1 with an RTE release date soon afterward
Each of the six shows will be half an hour long so get ready for a solid 30 minutes of belly aching laughs every week.

The show has been described as a sort of ‘prequel’ to the movie, so we’re absolutely buzzing to see what shenanigans the lads get up to.
