The Young Offenders director, Peter Foott, will make his Disney+ debut very soon, thanks to a new movie Halloween movie in the pipeline.
Peter Foott, the director behind uber-popular Irish series The Young Offenders, is set to take on a new project with Disney+. Unsurprising given the success of his other work.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Foott will rewrite and direct a new Halloween movie due to premiere online – presumably around October/November time.
Called Spooked, the movie is believed to be a supernatural comedy about a Halloween night gone wrong. Produced by Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich of Rideback, the original script will be rewritten by Foott exclusively for Disney+.
Beloved amongst Irish audiences for his work on The Young Offenders, series three has just premiered on RTÉ – much to the delight of fans who have greatly missed the boys’ antics. Taking over the 9.35pm slot on Friday nights on RTE One, you can expect more of the same madcap exploits of Conor and Jock (who is a now a new dad FYI). More on that here.
