RTÉ yesterday announced and unveiled Ireland’s entry for Eurovision 2017 in Kyiv.
Brendan Murray, formerly of HomeTown, will represent Ireland with Dying To Try, a song co-written by Swedish songwriter Jörgen Elofsson and British songwriter James Newman.
Haven’t seen it yet? Take a gander below.
Personally, we think it’s the best song Ireland’s entered in a while now.
And the music video is nothing short of dreamy with all that drone footage.
But people are expressing some pretty conflicting feelings about the song…
well done brendan murray it amazing I can’t stop listening to the video I can’t stop singing it

I really hope Ireland’s Brendan Murray doesn’t hit puberty in the middle of his performance. How awkward if his voice broke live #Eurovision
