Last night the first half of the Michael Jackson documentary, Leaving Neverland, aired and there has been a huge reaction.
Ever since it premiered it has been causing quite a stir with many radio stations taking the ‘King Of Pop’ off their playlists, never to return.
Although, it seemed most people were outraged, there seemed to be a lot of people defending Jackson, implying that he would have been caught already if he was guilty of the accusations.
Here’s how Twitter reacted:

Also, why on earth would a mum look back and laugh/smile when thinking back on when her little boy was allegedly sexually abused? #LeavingNeverland

Unpopular opinion but this #LeavingNeverland Michael Jackson documentary is complete bullshit. Imagine the amount of money these “victims” have been paid to lie.

Amazing how far people can go for money & fame #LeavingNeverland
Can they not let the man RIP #MichaelJackson— Avina Shah (@AvinaShah) March 6, 2019
If you're on twitter policing how you believe victims of sexual abuse should "appear" and "act" then you're fucking scum #LeavingNeverland

The live reactions to #LeavingNeverland are *precisely* why so many victims of abuse do not come forward until much later, and sometimes not at all.

MJ fans questioning why these men didn’t speak up when they were little boys?! Can you even begin to imagine the fear they must’ve felt? On the most basic level how do you even defend a grown man sleeping in the same bed as a child? IT IS INSANE! #LeavingNeverland
