You can listen to comedians, experts on any and every topic imaginable and pretty much a shit-load of thought provoking inspiring conversations that could just change your life. Or at least change your morning for the better.
Here’s the ones we’re loving right now that will get you through this week:
1. WTF With Marc Maron
One of the orginals, stand-up comedian Marc Maron’s weekly podcast is a treasure trove of wit and intelligent conversations with America’s finest. Previous guests have included Barak Obama, Robin Williams and Louis CK.
Must listen episode: Comedian Natasha Leggero talks about her up-coming standup tour and the mysterious stranger she fell in love with when she was younger. Any woman will recognise this particular kind of man she talks about. Gas.

2. The Women’s Podcast
Hosted by Roisin Ingle of the Irish Times, ‘The Women’s Podcast’ should really be compulsary listening for every person of any gender in Ireland. Interesting guests each episode make for intelligent discussions about current topics affecting women in Ireland that will make you want to bring up the same issues with your mates down the pub.
Must listen episode: Roisin is joined by musician Lisa Hannigan, the legendary Gloria Steinem and others for the 50th anniversary episode, where they’ve gathered “50 pieces of advice from 50 wonderful women”. Superb inspiring listening.

3. Guys We F****d
The title of this anti-slut shaming podcast is pretty self-explanatory, and with hilarious results. Each week, comedy duo Corinne Fisher and Krystyna Hutchinson interview a man they’ve slept with. Every episode is filled with humour and honesty, all in a bid to make the world a “more sex-positive place”.
Must listen episode: MTV’s Esther Ku talks about what it’s like to grow up in a cult, the suffocation of sexuality that can sometimes be caused by religion and just getting your virginity over with. Be prepared to snort at the making funny voices in bed convo.

4. Philosophy Bites
Hosted by BBC radio show authors Nigel Warburton and David Edmonds this features bite-sized interviews with philosophers each on a specific topic. Perfect for some downtime introspective thinking.
Must listen episode: Alison Gopnik, philosopher and psychologist discusses what is the imagination, and why do we have it? You’ll never have a daydream again without thinking about this.

5. By The Way, In Conversation with Jeff Garlin
This podcast is paradise for eavesdroppers, as comedian Jeff Garlin chats candidly to some of LA’S top stars, including Amy Poehler, Conan O’Brien and Zach Galifianakis.
Must listen episode: Jeff is joined by everyone’s favourite, Will Ferrell, who talks about the Golden Globes and literally makes Jeff cry with laughter.

6. The Moth
Dedicated to the art and craft of story-telling, or as we call it, “a good yarn”, The Moth weekly podcast features incredible first-hand and true stories from people across the world. With famous storytellers such as Moby, Kimya Dawson and Annie Proux, you’re sure to find a story you love out of the insane 18,000 they have on record.
Must listen episode: What’s the best thing to do when your partner lets you down in the most spectacular fashion? Get revenge in a delicious kind of way. Duh. Famous 80s actress Terri Garr did just that and we love her.
7. You Made It Weird With Pete Holmes
Hosted by the funniest dork there ever was, comedian Pete Holmes explores a number of topics, many of them ‘weird’, with a shitload of amazing guests such as Judd Apatow, Jimmy Kimmel and Dane Cook.
Must listen episode: Pete talks to Ireland’s very own Glen Hansard about being famous and the ups and downs of touring life. A must listen for an insight into how lonely it is to be surrounded by people.
