Derry – Pub crawl on Waterloo Street
Start at Peader O’Donnell’s, head onto Tracey’s and the Dungloe Bar before finishing up at Granny Annies if you’ve still got the energy.
Donegal – Pedalos at the Dunlewey Centre
You’ll both be quickly put at ease with this relaxing Letterkenny activity.
Down – The Coach
Great food and cocktails and this Banbridge spot.
Dublin – Accents
Centrally located on Stephen’s Street, this cosy cafe is has the perfect ‘get to know each other’ vibe. Release your competitive streak (but not too much) with a range of card and board games.
Fermanagh – Marble Arch Caves Global Geo Park
Glide along the underground river in a boat. Tours last 75 minutes but take note, the caves are closed from December to February.
Galway – Enoteca Il Molo
A lovely little Italian restaurant in Kinvara. Find time to take a walk along the pier too.
Kerry – Ross Castle
Park up for the afternoon before walking out to Ross Island. Check out the Copper Mines and finish up with a coffee and/or scone in JM Reidy’s.
Kildare – Japanese Gardens
Pick a nice spring afternoon to explore a mixture of Eastern and Western culture.
Kilkenny – Smithwicks Tour
A swift and highly informative guided tour through a brewery which has made Kilkenny famous. Complimentary pints are offered at the end.

Tipperary – Mitchel House Restaurant
Found on a quiet Thurles street, they also do a deal for a two-course early bird and cinema ticket for just €25 on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. We’d go for their brown bread and sundried tomato butter alone!
Tyrone – Ulster American Folk Park
Grab your partner and get on down to Omagh.
Waterford – Geoffs
Loads of lovely little corners to escape to, always a good buzz but not too loud with gorgeous food to boot.
