Ghostbusters – FilmFour – 6.15pm

Following a ghost invasion of Manhattan, paranormal enthusiasts Erin Gilbert (Melissa McCarthy) and Abby Yates (Kristen Wiig), nuclear engineer Jillian Holtzmann (Kate McKinnon), and subway worker Patty Tolan (Lesley Jones) band together to stop the otherworldly threat.

The Man with the Golden Gun – ITV4 – 8pm

James Bond (Roger Moore) is targeted by the world’s most expensive assassin (Christopher Lee), while he attempts to recover sensitive solar cell technology that is being sold to the highest bidder.

Independence Day – FilmFour – 9pm

The aliens are coming and their goal is to invade and destroy Earth. Fighting superior technology, mankind’s best weapon is the will to survive. Stars Will Smith, Jeff Goldblum, and Bill Pullman.

Heartbreak Ridge – ITV4 – 10.25pm

Hard-nosed, hard-living Marine Gunnery Sergeant Tom Highway (Clint Eastwood) clashes with his superiors and his ex-wife as he takes command of a spoiled recon platoon with a bad attitude.

Snowpiercer – FilmFour – 11.50pm

In a future where a failed climate-change experiment has killed all life except for the lucky few who boarded the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe, a new class system emerges. Stars Chris Evans, Jamie Bell, and Tilda Swinton.
