Domhnall Gleeson stars in this gothic period horror, playing a doctor who is called to visit a crumbling manor and begins to witness some very strange occurrences.
Mission: Impossible III – Sky One – 9pm
Tom Cruise continues to put his body through an insurance agent’s worst nightmare in the actually-very-good sequel, which pits him against Philip Seymour Hoffman’s nefarious arms dealer.
Bridget Jones’ Diary – Comedy Central – 9pm
Rene Zellweger finds herself torn between her charming boss (Hugh Grant) and nice guy new arrival (Colin Firth) in this iconic rom-com.
Mulholland Drive – TG4 – 9.30pm
David Lynch’s incredible, mind-bending drama deals with a young actress (Naomi Watts) who crosses paths with an amnesiac car-crash survivor (Laura Harring), and tries to help her decipher clues to who she was.
Horrible Bosses – RTE Two – 9.35pm
Charlie Day, Jason Sudekis, and Jason Bateman are three best friends who decide to help each other get revenge on each of their terrible managers, played by Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell, and Kevin Spacey.
Tremors – ITV4 – 10.20pm
Kevin Bacon headlines this horror-comedy about a small town in America that finds itself under siege by subterranean giant worms, and no way to escape.
Sliding Doors – BBC One – 11.20pm
Gwyneth Paltrow plays out two realities – in one which she catches her partner cheating on her, and one in which she doesn’t – and we see how those two lives play out.
My Left Foot – RTE One – 11.50pm
This two-time Oscar-winning drama stars Daniel Day Lewis as Christy Brown, a man born with cerebral palsy who learns to paint and write with his only controllable limb – his left foot.
