Ghostbusters – FilmFour – 6.20pm

Following a ghost invasion of Manhattan, paranormal enthusiasts Erin Gilbert (Kristen Wiig) and Abby Yates (Melissa McCarthy), nuclear engineer Jillian Holtzmann (Kate McKinnon), and subway worker Patty Tolan (Lesley Jones) band together to stop the otherworldly threat.

The Man with the Golden Gun – ITV4 – 8pm

James Bond (Roger Moore) is targeted by the world’s most expensive assassin (Christopher Lee), while he attempts to recover sensitive solar cell technology that is being sold to the highest bidder.

Logan – FilmFour – 9pm

In a future where mutants are nearly extinct, an elderly and weary Logan (Hugh Jackman) leads a quiet life. But when Laura (Dafne Keen), a mutant child pursued by scientists, comes to him for help, he must get her to safety.

3:10 to Yuma – TG4 – 9.05pm

A small-time rancher (Christian Bale) agrees to hold a captured outlaw (Russell Crowe) who’s awaiting a train to go to court in Yuma. A battle of wills ensues as the outlaw tries to psych out the rancher.

In The Line Of Fire – RTE Two – 10pm

Secret Service agent Frank Horrigan (Clint Eastwood) couldn’t save Kennedy, but he’s determined not to let a clever assassin (John Malkovich) take out this president.

Sing Street – Channel 4 – 1.40am

A boy (Ferdia Walsh-Peelo) growing up in Dublin during the 1980s escapes his strained family life by starting a band to impress the mysterious girl (Kelly Thornton) he likes.
