Gran Torino – ITV4 – 9pm

Disgruntled Korean War veteran Walt Kowalski (Clint Eastwood) sets out to reform his neighbour, Thao Lor (Bee Vang), a Hmong teenager who tried to steal Kowalski’s prized possession: a 1972 Gran Torino.

Bad Teacher – Comedy Central – 9pm

A lazy, incompetent middle school teacher (Cameron Diaz) who hates her job, her students, and her co-workers is forced to return to teaching to make enough money for breast implants after her wealthy fiancé dumps her.

The Greatest Showman – FilmFour – 9pm

Celebrates the birth of show business and tells of a visionary (Hugh Jackman) who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation.

Minority Report – Sky One – 9pm

In a future where a special police unit is able to arrest murderers before they commit their crimes, an officer (Tom Cruise) from that unit is himself accused of a future murder.

No Country For Old Men – TG4 – 9.30pm

Violence and mayhem ensue after a hunter (Josh Brolin) stumbles upon a drug deal gone wrong and more than two million dollars in cash near the Rio Grande, and a mysterious man (Javier Bardem) is sent to track it down.

Blades Of Glory – FilmFour – 11.05pm

In 2002, two rival Olympic ice skaters (Will Ferrell and Jon Heder) were stripped of their gold medals and permanently banned from men’s single competition. Presently, however, they’ve found a loophole that will allow them to qualify as a pairs team.
