Some of the best comedies, horrors, and dramas we’ve seen in a while are on the telly tonight.

We are being treated well by the TV Gods this evening thanks to this buffet of cinematic delights.

Seriously, this is a very solid mix of flicks, if we do say so ourselves.

Isle Of Dogs – Channel 4 – 6.05pm

This hilarious animated movie about a young boy trying to find his lost dog features one of the most packed voice casts in recent memory: Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Liev Schreiber, Bill Murray, Bob Balaban, Jeff Goldblum, Scarlett Johansson, Tilda Swinton, Ken Watanabe, Greta Gerwig, Frances McDormand, F. Murray Abraham, Courtney B. Vance, Fisher Stevens, Yoko Ono, Harvey Keitel, and loads more.

How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days – Comedy Central – 6.45pm

Kate Hudson is the journalist who is trying to prove she can get a guy to fall in love and then break up with her within ten days, while Matt McConaughey is the sales exec trying to prove he can get any woman to fall in love with him in ten days. Guess what happens next?

A Quiet Place – FilmFour – 9pm

John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are two parents in a post-apocalypse, trying to survive in a world filled with creatures that are attracted to sound. One of the best horror films of recent years.

The Imitation Game – RTE Two – 9pm

Benedict Cumberbatch plays the real-life genius Alan Turing, the man who helped defeat the Nazis during WWII thanks to his code-breaking, but was almost written out of history due to the world’s approach to his sexuality at the time.

Crank 2: High Voltage – FilmFour – 10.45pm

The bonkers, OTT action sequel sees Jason Statham continue his one man rampage against the people who wronged him, this time fuelled by a mechanical heart that is showing no signs of slowing down.

A Monster Calls – BBC Two – 11.15pm

A young boy is attempting to navigate the world after the devastating news that his mother is dying of cancer, and he befriends a mysterious creature (voiced by Liam Neeson) who may help him through his troubles.
