These New Headphones Release Happiness Chemicals As You Listen To Your Tunes

Now here’s an idea…

A startup by the name of Nervana claims to be able to help the listener feel music through new nerve-stimulating headphones. The music system is made up of a hand-held Nervana Generator and then accompanied by a pair of earbud headphones.

The way they work sounds incredibly technical, but basically the apparatus causes neurotransmitters to be released in the brain when the listener’s vagus nerve is stimulated. Confused? Us too. By playing music through the system, it generates a nerve output in time with the music.
