We don’t exactly take much solace from the fact that Donald Trump didn’t pick up a win at the Iowa caucus last night – Ted Cruz is hardly much of an improvement, after all.
But there is something beautiful about seeing someone so brutally arrogant cut down to size, so naturally some of the billionaire’s past statements have come back to haunt him in the wake of his shock loss.
And given his second-place finish, this one, in particular, has been dug up and retweeted hundreds of times today.
