It’s something that we see as commonplace in the United States or the Far East but cosmetic surgery is gaining huge popularity here in Ireland also.
Tonight, a new series will air on RTÉ highlighting this very craze. Body Shopping will see Dr Ciara Kelly try and get to the root of why so many people in this country want to change their appearance.
Among the people featured on the show are a man who wants breast reduction surgery, people who want hair transplants and a woman who says she she wants to get everything done.
Body Shopping should be a fascinating watch and the first episode airs on RTÉ2 tonight at 9.30pm. For a little taster, check out the clip below:
