This Puppy With Braces Is The Cutest Thing You’ll See Today

We are suckers for a cute puppy and this one is causing a major stir today.

Wesley lives in Michigan in the US and has gone viral this week as he is one of a small number of dogs to have been fitted with braces.

Yep, dog braces are now a thing.

According to Buzzfeed, the pup was adopted by the Moore family last summer but began to experience difficulties with his teeth and was soon unable to close his mouth.

“Once his adult teeth started coming out, we noticed they were coming in wrong and he was unable to close his mouth fully. He wasn’t playing with his toys and he was losing weight,” said owner Molly.

Luckily, a member of his new family specialised in animal dentistry and decided to fit him with braces on his teeth so he could eat and play without pain.

Harborfront Hospital For Animals has since shared several adorable photos of Wesley on their Facebook page and confirmed that the puppy will only have to wear his new braces for a few weeks before his smile is straightened.

“He’s just so cute with them on. I feel like that’s what I looked like when I got braces at 12,” Molly added.
