This Wedding Show Is Going To Be The New ‘Say Yes To The Dress’

If you’re obsessed with Say Yes To The Dress and Don’t Tell The Bride but you’ve seen every single episode (twice), then you’ve just found your new favourite show. 

Wedding Day Winners is a brand new nuptial-themed programme on BBC presented by Lorraine Keane and Rob Beckett, and it’s like all of our favourite gameshows rolled into one. 

There’s weddings, physical challenges, brain games and, most importantly, FAMILY DRAMA… with a great big ceremony at the end. 

Couples compete alongside their friends and family in a series of challenges, with the winning couple getting their wedding and honeymoon completely paid for, as well some other extravagant gifts along the way (think a year’s supply of champagne). 

Lorraine explained to the BBC: 

“The runners-up still get a mini-moon and their wedding and reception is also paid for.

“The only difference is that the losers’ wedding is only shown during the show’s end credits.

“There’s some Prosecco during the day (of filming), not shedloads but just enough to keep everybody happy!” 

The first episode airs tomorrow night (Saturday) at 7.25pm on BBC One.

That’s January weekends sorted.
