Who needs cocktails with the girls or a night having few pints with the lads when you have three blockbuster movies to choose from?
There is something to so nice and comforting about drawing the curtains, opening a bottle of wine (or whatever you fancy), turning off the lights and having an old-fashioned movie marathon.
You don’t need to be out on the town every weekend, and it’s a great way to recharge the batteries.
Tonight, you have the choice of three blockbuster movies to kick off your movie marathon.
1. Fantastic Four @ 9:20pm on RTÉ 2
This is one for the comic book fans. While it might not be an Avengers movie, it’s an oldie and a goodie.
2. Ocean’s Thirteen @ 9pm on Sky One
The final instalment of the incredible Ocean’s trilogy. Most sequels bomb, but this just about pulls it off and is well worth the watch. If you haven’t seen the other two, then you’re night is sorted.
3. The Taking of Pelham 123 @ 9pm on W
While this might not be considered Denzel Washington’s best movie, it’s Denzel it’s still miles better than most films out there.
Now all you have to do is to decide what snack you plan to devour during the film!
