178 year old jeweller Tiffany & Co. are the latest designer brand to feature same sex couples in their ad campaign (as it should). The “Will You?” campaign was designed to show mainstream public that love comes in many forms. The campaign also features a couple on their wedding day with a child, again reflecting the modern approach to relationships and a nod to couple who decide to have families before wedlock.
Its great to see a household brand like Tiffany & Co acknowledging how life really is in the modern world. Shot by photographer Peter Lindbergh, he said the campaign intended to capture “a moment in time when couples experience an intimate connection”. And the best thing about the gay couple featured- apparently they’re a couple in real life!
What I’d like to see is this type of message of marriage equality being normalised in marketing, then we wouldn’t have to call out on brands for ‘groundbreaking’ campaigns, but until then, kudos to Tiffany & Co.

Genuinely touched that such an iconic brand produced such a lovely advert times they are a changing @TiffanyAndCo !! pic.twitter.com/m4Qyui2T4j
