Brendan Gleeson Hunts A Serial Killer Clown In This Gripping New TV Show

Mr Mercedes is a new TV show starring Brendan Gleeson and it looks like it’s going to be an addictive watch.

Bill Hodges (Gleeson) is a retired cop who turned to alcoholism after failing to find the most horrific murderer of his career, the Mercedes Killer (Luke Treadway), who uses his trademark vehicle to mow down his victims.

When the serial killer contacts Hodges in an effort to taunt him, the former policeman begins his own private investigation outside of the law…

The show is an adaptation of the first in a trilogy of books by Stephen King which follow the character Bill Hodges, so you can expect that the master of horror has thrown a few frights into the story — so if you’ve a thing about clowns, maybe give this one a miss.

Mr Mercedes premiered on Wednesday, August 9 on AUDIENCE Network.
