The latest episode of Game of Thrones was the most dramatic yet of season 8 – but we won’t delve too deeply into that in order to keep this a relatively spoiler-free zone.
The third instalment titled The Long Night focused on the epic Battle of Winterfell – but it wasn’t the battle’s wins and losses that were the main talking point of the night.
Instead, fans were left fuming over how dark the episode was – as in, actually dark.

Plenty of people complained about finding it almost impossible to make out what was actually going on in the episode since it was so dimly lit – even with the brightness turned all the way up.

In fairness, the battle did take place at night so it’s slightly understandable, but it definitely added an entirely new layer of stress to the episode.
Thankfully, it looks like there’s gonna be a whole lot more daylight in episode four if the new teaser trailer is anything to go by.
