One Of RTÉ’s Most High-Profile Shows Is Set To Be Axed According To Reports

RTÉ is planning on axing its The Ray D’Arcy Show, according to a report in The Irish Sun today.

The publication claims that the chat show will end its current run in March, rather than in May as planned.

An insider said that the programme is ‘a huge disappointment’ but if the broadcaster doesn’t manage to line up a replacement in the autumn, it could return for a fifth series.

Tonight, Ray welcomes TV presenter Noel Edmonds onto the show as well as the five leaders from RTÉ’s Operation Transformation.
