Red Alert! ‘The Snapper’ Is On The Telly Tonight

No matter how many times and Irish person has seen The Snapper, it almost feels like blasphemy if you don’t tune in whenever it’s on the telly. 

The Roddy Doyle classic focuses on the Curley family in the fictional Barrytown area of Dublin. When eldest daughter Sharon falls pregnant, her protective father Des is on the case to find out who the father is. 

There are far so many one-liners in the 1993 film that it’s easy to forget them all so you’ll just have to tune in again for a reminder. The Snapper airs tonight on be3 at 11.30pm and should be a great way to wrap up the Bank Holiday weekend.
