WATCH: Virgin Media Viewers Were Stunned By What Graeme Souness Said Before The Match Tonight
His fellow pundits could hardly contain their laughter
Paul Pogba is a footballer who has always divided opinions. At just 25-years-old, the Frenchman has an impressive trophy cabinet containing winner's medals for a World Cup, a Europa League as well as four Italian league titles.
Despite all the silverware, the Manchester United midfielder has a fair share of detractors, most notoriously Virgin Media pundit Graeme Souness. The Scot never passes up an opportunity to tear Pogba to shreds with his apparent flash persona and lackadaisical playing style coming in for plenty of criticism.
All this is why viewers were shocked to hear Souness say he's always rated Pogba when quizzed on the player's recent upturn in form under new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Fellow pundits Keith Andrews and Niall Quinn could hardly contain their laughter when he came out with it but Graeme defended himself by saying Pogba always had a decent footballer in him waiting to come out.

Sure, Graeme. We all believe you, right guys? Stop laughing down the back. In fairness, he might have had a point seeing as Pogba got himself needlessly sent off in the dying minutes of United's 2-0 defeat to PSG tonight.
Souness will no doubt be delighted.
