Tonight’s TV Pick is billed as a documentary but really it’s a televised conversation and a hugely important one at that.
Prince William will lead the way in A Royal Team Talk: Tackling Mental Health, which aims to reduce the stigma of men opening up about their feelings.
As the title would suggest, the Duke Of Cambridge will be joined by some of the biggest names in football including Tottenham’s Danny Rose who has won praise recently for candid interviews about his own struggle with depression.
Also appearing will be BBC’s Dan Walker and Jermaine Jenas, England manager Gareth Southgate, Peter Crouch and Theirry Henry, who speaks about how his infamous handball against Ireland affected his mental health.
A Royal Team Talk: Tackling Mental Health gets underway at 11.30pm on BBC One and it’s well worth recording if you think it’s a bit past your bedtime. You can get a glimpse of what’s to come in the clip below.
