Here’s What We Know About The Release Of ‘Making A Murderer’ Season 2 So Far

Great news for any fans of  Making A Murderer…

Last night Netflix announced that a second series will be released.

So we’ll be reunited with Steven Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey, as well as the officers of the Manitowoc County Police Department.

“We are extremely grateful for the tremendous response to, and support of, the series. The viewers’ interest and attention has ensured that the story is not over, and we are fully committed to continuing to document events as they unfold”

Executive producers and directors Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos confirmed that they have begun work on a second season of Making A Murderer but it is not known when the new episodes will be released.

The series will follow Avery and Dassey’s investigative and legal teams as they “challenge their convictions and the State fights to have the convictions and life sentences upheld”.

“This next chapter will provide an in-depth look at the high-stakes post-conviction process, as well as the emotional toll the process takes on all involved”
