Sherlock starring Benedict Cumberbatch takes the title of the most popular show in the world followed by classic American comedy Friends.
The sitcom which shot the likes of Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer to fame is ranked number one in places like India, Jordan, Lebanon and Nepal where it appears people can't get enough of the zany antics of the New York sextet.
