Some familiar faces from The Late Late Toy Show will return to our screens this week.
As excitement ramps up for what is likely the most anticipated Late Late Show of the year, a special nostalgic series is set to air over three nights.
The Late Late Toy Show begins at 9.35pm on Friday night and to remind viewers what a national institution it is, RTE is airing three episodes of The Late Late Show Unwrapped in the build-up.
Starting on Wednesday night at 7pm, Unwrapped will focus on several kids who made the country fall in love with them in recent years.
First up will be Leitrim girl, Stella McGirl, who you will likely remember for her hilarious and adorable reaction to being told she would be going to be on last year’s Toy Show.
Wednesday’s show will also see RTE visit the Kildare home of Ava O’Donovan, who showed how she hadn’t let her disability stop her from dancing when she appeared alongside Ryan Tubridy two years ago.
And of course, no trip down Toy Show memory lane would be complete without a reunion with Johnny O’Loughlin.
Appearances from several other kids whose personalities turned them into viral hits over the years are expected throughout the three-episode series.
The Late Late Toy Show Unwrapped airs on RTE One at 7pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday before the 2019 edition gets underway.
